Labour Market Economics
How does the labour market work?
A Warm Welcome.....
... to the Labour Market Economics subject group
Job seekers and companies alike find a solid, fundamental knowledge of of how the labour market works when they approach employment agencies and job centres with their questions and concerns. Common enquiries from the company side include searching for staff, making adjustments in this regard as well as further training; for job seekers, how they make decisions concerning education, mobility and vacancies is important as well as how they accept job offers.
The subject group teaches labour market relationships and the structural development of unemployment from an economic perspective in order to find answers to the topics outlined above.
Applied research is theory-driven and empirical, focusing on current labour market issues.
