- Project number: 2017-1-IT01-KA202-006139
Project Description
The project is based on a transnational strategic cooperation between public and private Non-Profit-Organisations from four European countries, which support the empowerment of professionals in this field by exchanging knowledge, best practices and methods as well as by holding short joint training events. Joint recommendations and methodological advice should be suitable for (inclusion) measures and interventions to integrate people who have fled their countries, those seeking asylum and other groups of adults who find themselves in a transitional phase in terms of work, tailored as individually as possible.
Aim of the Project
- Development of transversal and transferable skills for users who work in this field.
- Exchange of methods and approaches for the identification of skills and competencies. This should be the first step in a process of validation and certification according to national and European law.
- Integration of existing tools, methods or counselling and orientation practices which are assumed by the cooperation.
- Development of an exchange of practices for workshops and training, research activities as well as counselling practice.
- Creation of a transnational cooperation which can offer additional value to partner organisations in terms of different country-specific characteristics, perspectives, cultures and challenges, which then contribute to project results on both a national and European level.
Activities
- Joint further training events for professionals, career counsellors, political decision-makers and trainers who are involved in the social and professional integration of people who have fled their countries, asylum seekers and migrants as well as adults in a transitional phase. These events take place in three countries (France, Germany, Italy).
- Two transnational meetings (Italy, Greece).
