Digital transformation leads to a change in society and in the economy. Digital technologies found their way into numerous workplaces long ago. To keep up with digital transformation, employees require an increasing number of distinctive digital skills. At the same time, employees with weaker digital skills and those in training risk getting left behind.

This is where the project CGC - DigiTrans comes into play: The aim of the project is the development of an innovative counselling method the "CGC Roundabouts for Digital Transformation", which enables:

• the recognition of employer and client needs
• the more accurate development of digital training programmes
• the selection of suitable training programmes for those seeking advice and supporting their further training.

The basis here is both the knowledge and skills of those counselling practitioners in the context of digitalisation and their ability to advise in mutli-people networks.

Counselling methods are developed involving practitioners in the field of counselling, further education, operational practice and HR development respectively. They are designed to support counselling practitioners in harmonising/coordinating the digital competence needs of employees, companies and providers of further training, to harmonise digital needs.

A method manual, curriculum and seminars are also being developed. The curriculum is being put to the test within the framework of the academic training and further training of  counselling practitioners. A high level of practical relevance as well as a strong willingness to adapt in a national counselling context is guaranteed as practitioners are involved from local counselling, further training and Human Resources networks in Germany, Italy, Austria and the Netherlands.
