Objectives and Context

The project assumes that there is an imbalance of skilled workers in the ICT sector of the EU labour market. Employees in the ICT sector are also willing to relocate.

AMICO is a strategic collaboration with the aim of easing the mobility of skilled workers in the ICT sector between the EU states. With this in mind, the focus lies on the professionalising of counsellors regarding international placement.

By drawing up a curriculum for counsellors in terms of professional mobility as well as developing a tailor-made tool to optimise coordination and counselling services within the EU, employee mobility in the ICT sector can be increased across Europe.

This will lead to an improvement in both private and public employment services and can serve as a pioneer for other sectors.
