The HdBA recommends its researchers publish their findings in Open Access as well as bring out their publications under free licence. With the HdBA Open ScienceStrategy, researchers and administrative staff acknowledge, amongst others, the principles of the Berlin Declaration on open access to academic knowledge. This also means a responsible, comprehensible approach to project-related research data as well as free access to findings and publications in all phases of the research process.
