Duration
2015 – 2019
Project Description
In close cooperation with the head office at the National Employment Agency (divisions for Human Resources/Organisational Development as well as Occupational Psychological Services) and the University of Applied Labour Studies (HdBA), a multi-step process for the diagnosis of different aspects of the ability to study and work is used for the selection of HdBA students.
This selection procedure is intended to derive specific requirements which are asked of the HdBA students in their interdisciplinary, practice-oriented study courses and so guarantee a valid prognosis of success.
The project "Überarbeitung der Studierfähigkeitsdiagnostik im Rahmen des Auswahlverfahrens der HdBA" (StuDiag - Revision of the study aptitude assessment as part of the HdBA selection procedure) is an extension of the previous project "Optimierung der HdBA-Zulassung" (Optimisation of HdBA admission).
In the context of this project:
- the (cognitive) study requirements of an HdBA degree programme will be further differentiated
- student selection to date will undergo a critical evaluation
- previously used specific study aptitude assessments will be replaced by a new process structure
- further diagnostic concepts and the continued development of non-cognitive study competencies will be evolved and tested
