Project Description

ECADOC Summer Schools for PhD Students

ECADOC offers annual summer schools for doctoral candidates who are working on topics related to career counselling and careers in general. The interdisciplinary summer schools are organised in different countries every year and provide participants with the chance to present and discuss their research projects, to expand on their knowledge of various research methods, to network with experienced researchers from other countries and a whole lot more.

If you are interested, please visit the ECADOCwebsite via the link to ecadoc. The summer schools are open to PhD students at the HdBA.

Background

Together with the European Society for Vocational Designing and Career Counseling (ESVDC), the NICEnetwork 2012 initiated the "European Doctoral Programme in Career Guidance and Counselling" (ECADOC). From 2013 to 2016, ECADOC was financed by the European Commission as part of the programme for lifelong learning. In 2017, the summer school took place at the HdBA for the first time. This was planned and executed in Mannheim in cooperation with partners at the universities of Warwick (UK), Aarhus (DK), Athens (HE) and Zürich (CH).
