Master as a human resources development tool
Enrolment for the Master Degree Programme
The Master degree programme Labour Market-Oriented Counselling is merely offered to employees of the National Employment Agency as a human resources development tool. Employees who are identified as suitable for vertical human resources development by their managers are proposed to the development conference.
Selection Decision
The regional offices are responsible for managing and selecting proposals and applications from their respective areas of responsbility (including the special departments within their respective areas) for participation in a master programme at the HdBA. By 15th May for the start of studies in October of the same year, the regional offices inform the HdBA (name, department) who are then requested to submit their admission documents.
Entry Requirements
The University of Applied Labour Studies Authorisation Committee check the entry applications with regard to the fulfilment of entry requirements. For the Master programme Labour Market-Orientated Counselling (M.A.) the following prerequisites apply:
- a minimum two-year activity in the BA (in law SGB II or SGB III)
- a first job qualification degree qualification from a German or foreign university with a standard period of study of a minimum of three years (corresponding to 180 ECTS credits)
- Knowledge of English minimum level B1 (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages - CEFR)
