Studying at the HdBA

Combination of Economics, Social Sciences and Law

To be able to implement state labour market policy to carry out the diverse range of tasks for skilled workers, the National Employment Agency (BA) requires a selection of courses comprising a specific combination of economics, social sciences and law. On top of that, the University of Applied Labour Studies (HdBA), with its focus on advisory sciences, has a unique selling point. Although the HdBA training programme is mainly based on the specific needs of the BA, students are also qualified for various fields outside of the BA, which overlap some of the range of BA services, e.g. in the fields of public management public administration or with personnel service agencies.
