Studying at the HdBA offers the opportunity to gain a new, academically founded perspective on the tasks of the National Employment Agency through demanding, challenging lectures. The interactive teaching and learning formats underline the importance of gaining the ability to interact and to establish a connection within the study group. Social skills are also significant in professional fields. For this reason, there is no shortage of social life while studying.

The HdBA offers its students and staff a host of opportunities at both campuses to meet and exchange ideas: Whether it be language courses and talks or regional culture, sport and leisure activities, barbeques and public screening, all adding variety to university life. For example, dragon boat races and the HdBA football tournament not only encourage a spirit of sporting competition but also promote a sense of community.
