About the Campus
The University of Applied Labour Studies buildings are situated in the suburb Lewenberg, in the north of Schwerin, the state capital of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
The university moved into the buildings in Lewenberg in the year 2020. They were designed and constructed ecologically by the Hamburg architects Gerkan, Marg and Partner.
The spacious, disabled-friendly university campus is exceptionally well-equipped and boasts an extremely friendly atmosphere. Designed based on the "sunken garden" principle, the complex blends harmoniously into the charming terminal moraine landscape.
There are over 300 housing units on campus. Several family rooms and rooms for disabled people are also available. Alongside the lecture halls and the main lecture theatre, the accessible university buildings offer space for working in small groups and tutorials. On top of that, students can make use of a comprehensive library, a family working room and a canteen in the building.
The Schwerin campus offers two Bachelordegree programmes Labour MarketManagement and Education, Career and Employment Counselling, the Master programme and other further education programmes
How to Find Us
It is easy to reach the Mannheim campus by car and by public transport.

- Leave the station through the main entrance (Grundthalplatz) and walk across to the trams to the stop "Hauptbahnhof".
- Take tram line 1 or 4 towards "Kliniken" to the final stop (c. 5 min).
- From the tram turning point, take a path north directly to the HdBA campus.

- From the A24, take the exit Hagenow/Schwerin onto the B321.
- In Krebsförden turn left onto the B106/B104 towards Schwerin.
- Turn right onto Wismarsche Straße.
- The campus is on the left.
- Parking spaces are available for guests.
