Student Support
Support throughout your studies
Student support staff from different employment agencies and job centres nearby have been employed at both campuses of the University of Applied Labour Studies since the beginning of 2018.
The task of the student support staff is to accompany Bachelor students in the preparation and independent execution of real counselling and placement meetings as well as group events at employment agencies, job centres, schools or other institutions. At the end of the meetings and events, the support staff provide feedback and the chance to give shared reflection.
Students have the opportunity to prove themselves in real yet shielded client situations, while receiving practice-related instructions, specific case discussions and practical tips. The support staff's role is that of a person of trust for the students throughout the planning, execution and reflection, and do not function as examiners.
