Bearer of the university is the Federal Employment Agency that offers prospective students the opportunity to acquire at the company's own university bachelor degrees. In the undergraduate courses, students can acquire a unique expertise in combining economic, social and legal sciences and qualify for labor market specialists tasks. This also includes training for skills according to the Social Security Statute Book II (SGB II), which is perceived by the Federal Employment Agency in cooperation with the municipalities.
In addition to the two undergraduate courses, the university operates applied research on labor market policy, labor market management and relevant training. Due to the good evaluation of their concept, the university has received the accreditation in January 2007 by the Science Council and is one of few universities, which has awarded the Science Council its special cachet.
